Wage: $31.60 to $37.00 /hour (based on skill level; salary increases as per Company policy).

Experience: 1 year of related experience
Industry experience: Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction, Road construction
Area of work experience: Backfilling, Land clearing
Work Site Environment: Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat, and humidity
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Overtime required, Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at minimum 20 lbs regularly.
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract), Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements

Duties:
Reporting to Foreman, Loader Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a loader. This position operates loaders equipped with a front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop which is used to transport aggregate or other materials, feed hoppers or chutes, and/or stock pile aggregates.
• Operate a Loader in a safe and appropriate manner and maintain proper awareness of one’s surroundings while operating the Loader on private/public roadways.
• Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks,
• Operate computer-controlled equipment
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
• Understand and follow directions from supervisory personnel as required in the work area.
• Operate loader controls to lower and tilt bucket and drive forward to force bucket into bulk material; move the lever to raise and tilt bucket when filled, or to dump material.
• Operate with ground personnel in the work area and under their direction.
• Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.
