Description
Happy Cork is currently hiring for a Stock Assistant for our Brooklyn wine store. We are a high volume, fast-paced, wine retail and e-commerce store. We need your help to support our sales team and keep the store running smoothly. The position will be full time with flexible shifts.
Preferred hours are 12-5pm but will go no later than 8 or 9pm depending on day. One weekend day per weekend may be required. The position would principally involve: - Receiving wine - Keeping storage spaces neat and orderly - Stocking shelves - Making , occasional train deliveries - Pulling wine for orders - Packing and labeling wine for shipment - Wrapping and prepping bottles for gift orders and corporate orders - Light cleaning: Dusting shelves, windows, bathroom, sweeping & mopping, general upkeep
Requirements:
1. Be able to lift a case of wine (40lbs) repeatedly and carry it up the stairs.
2. Be able to make deliveries on foot in a 5 block radius.
3. Customer service skills: you will be interacting with customers in the store and on deliveries, and you must be able to offer good customer service and represent the shop in a presentable manner.
4. Must be over 21 years old.
