Description
Real Kitchen at Walden runs the in-house food program for Walden, one of Chicago's premier event venues. We are looking for servers and food runners to join our service team for a busy upcoming wedding season.
We believe in fair pay and full benefits, and want this job to be sustainable for our staff. Most shifts are 7-9 hours, with additional tips at the customer's discretion (avg $15+/hr in tips), 4% 401k match with immediate vesting, and 50% employee only match on health and dental insurance for those who take every available shift.
We have 3 wedding events booked every weekend for the majority of the year, before getting into weekday corporate and fundraiser events.
Responsibilities will include set-up and break down of the events, cocktail hour service, and dinner service.
We are looking for positive, enthusiastic people who are interested in joining a tight knit team. These positions are perfect for someone looking for more stable work outside of the unpredictable and volatile restaurant industry. We are happy to train the right people with the right attitude for the job.
