** Medical Assistant ** Flexible hours
Position Summary
The primary objective of the Medical Assistant is to assist the physician with all aspects of patient-care, as well as represent the office in a professional and courteous manner. Also this will be great position for someone looking to start their career in the medical field. We have had 3 assistants go onto medical school and several others into nursing, PA and other medical fields. Great way to learn and understand the health field as training will be provided.
Flexible hours and days available to get hands on training at your convenience.
Be able to multi-task and grasp information quickly.
Must have own car
Able to work both Springfield VA (as needed) and/or Herndon VA office locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Take patients to and from treatment rooms, ask medical information and perform vitals.
Clean rooms after each treatment: disinfect counter tops, disinfect / sterilize used instruments, vacuum floor, etc.
Performs inventory checks for supplies and restock patient rooms as needed.
