Description
We are seeking a highly detailed and motivated individual to join our salon team as a shampoo assistant.
The shampoo assistant will be responsible for assisting the hairstylists in providing high-quality shampoo services to our beloved clients. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and escort them to their stylist and shampoo area
- Assist clients with their coats/bags
- Pull hair color foils and Rinse out hair color
- Shampoo and condition clients hair as directed by the stylist
- Brush hair and prepare client to go back to the stylist
- Maintain a clean and organized shampoo area
- Ensure that all supplies are stocked and ready for use
- Operate and maintain shampoo equipment
- Assist with other salon duties
- Work well with other shampoo assistants in a team environment
Job Requirements:
- High school Diploma or GED
- Prior salon experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Follow work schedule TWFS 9 am to 6 pm
- Strong in following systems and processes
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
This is a full time position. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (with a lunch break)
