Kong Dog is hiring!
We are a new, up and coming Korean-style corndog store, located at the food court inside the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City (3 minute walking distance from Pentagon City Metro). We are currently looking for both full and part-time kitchen staff (frycook, barista), cashiers, and dishwashers to join our team.
We offer the following starting pay:
Dishwasher - $12/hr
Kitchen staff - $14/hr + tip
Casher - $14/hr+ tip
And will offer pay raises based on performance (with the exception of dish washer). While preference will be given to those with kitchen or customer service experience, we welcome all applicants, and provide a complete training for the role.
Here are some of the expected responsibilities:
Kitchen Staff
Fry Cook Responsibilities:s
- Preparing ingredients/toppings/sauces for corndogs/drinks
- Battering/frying corndogs in the deep fryer
Barista Responsibilities:
- Prepare varieties of drinks
Dishwasher responsibilities:
- Wash and sort dishes/kitchen equipment/utensils
- Help clean kitchen/storage area and dispose trash as necessary
Cashier responsibilities:
- Explain the menu to/take orders from/ customers
- Call out/confirm order numbers to ensure accurate/timely food service
* Proven experience in a customer service role is an advantage*
