I own a small mobile business here in San Marcos.
We sell new and used pool tables, provide a moving and installation service for private and commercial pool tables and refurbish then as well.
We service all of southern CA. Most of our jobs consist of going to a customers house, disassembling the pool table, wrapping the parts loading into the truck, transporting and installing the table at a new location.
Disassemble generally takes about 45-60min and installation approx 2hrs.
There is heavy lifting involved. A standard pool table (8’) has 3 pieces of stone which weigh approx 200lbs each. We will be carrying these by hand together in and out of properties. We move tables up and down stairs and in/out of elevators as well.
You must be able bodied to handle these tasks with no exceptions. We also work clean and are presentable and polite around our customers at all times. We do not allow smoking while on the job. We handle everything we touch with care as these are high dollar items and typically in nice homes.
Pay is per job, not hourly. We work quickly and efficiently. A typical job might take 3-4hrs depending on drive time to the pick up and delivery location. For a standard move snd install pay is $80. For a move / install and refelt pay is $100. Sometimes we simply go out and disassemble a table for flooring to be done and pay would be $60 for about 45min or work.
We pay through Venmo or Zelle. Not cash. Each day at the end of the day.
Room for advancement for the right person. You can learn to build / level tables, refelt rails, cushion replacement etc.

Our appointments schedule randomly and you will need to be available typically next day. We typically work Monday - Friday. Every once in a while we could pick up a Saturday morning job if it’s quick and worth it.
We will be meeting at my house in San Marcos the mornings and riding in my truck together to the jobs.
