We are searching for a dedicated live-in caregiver to provide assistance and support to our 71-year-old mother, who experienced a stroke two years ago. The ideal candidate should be a lady between 30 and 55 years of age, skilled in cooking healthy meals and experienced in caregiving. Our mother is in good spirits and remains cognitively sharp, but she requires help with most physical tasks throughout the day due to paralysis on her left side. While she enjoys watching TV and listening to the radio, we need someone to provide basic personal assistance tasks during downtime. Comfort with diaper changes is necessary, although a hoyer lift is available for emergencies, you will not be required to use it. We provide all heavy lifting assistance. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Should be comfortable driving in the city and highway and be able to take Mom to the doctors or elsewhere when it's required
( we do have a transport van for her and most of the time I will come with you but you should be able to do this on your own if I'm not available)
Work Schedule:
The caregiver will work a 5-day week, with the flexibility to choose any five days that suit their schedule. On the caregiver's days off, we will have a part-time caregiver come in to provide coverage and support.
