Description
Line Cook and crew openings for all shifts at downtown location (6th/Virginia). Must be able to work Saturdays. Minimum of 3 shifts a week. The job includes free parking in the building!!
You must have good communication skills, be professional and friendly, honor your work commitments and be able to work cooperatively with all levels of personnel.
Week day/nights and Saturdays open. We will try as reasonably possible to work with your schedule.
Duties and Requirements:
Crew/Line employees ideally need 1+ years in a restaurant or customer service job; must be customer service oriented, self directed, professional and highly motivated. Lead or supervisory experience helpful.
Cooks ideally need 1-2 years of strong grill/fry stations in a fast paced restaurant. Must be able to manage orders and cook menu items quickly and accurately, following strict proven recipes.
All job requirements:
Must be able to respond to customer and ticket orders quickly and accurately.
Must be able to work quickly under pressure, follow instructions and adapt accordingly.
Responsible for safely preparing and properly storing food, supplies and equipment.
Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds of products, supplies and equipent.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and have a sense of urgency.
Able to stand for long periods of time, make visual inspections, work in a tight, fast paced, warm/hot environment.
Must be a strong reader, excellent communicator, team oriented and comfortable with technology - email, texting, possess a working cell phone.
Candidates must have or readily attain a Washington State Food Worker Card, reliable transportation, strong communication skills, be friendly, flexible, willing to learn and jump in where needed.
