Reports to: Director of Software Development

Role Summary
The Oracle SOA - Full Stack Developer is an IT specialist who participates in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) to deliver various types of applications that address business requirements.
Education and Experience
• Degree from an accredited college or university with structured training in relevant programming languages and methodologies.
Must Have Skills:
• 6+ years of experience working in an application development role or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working in an application development environment that deliver solutions to meet business requirements in responsive design, progressive enhancements, vulnerability assessment and mitigation.
• Experience in Middleware technologies including: Oracle SOA Suite, WebLogic, NodeJS, Apache Camel etc.
• Experience in Integrations between different systems, platforms, stakeholders by using system integration best practices; mapping process flows, establishing data exchange protocols, API formats and messaging protocols (XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, RPC, Apache Kafka/Camel, IBM MQ Series, JMS etc.).
• Experience in responding to incidents and problems during the normal operation of the application.
• Experience supporting mission critical applications.
• Experience working with personal identifying information and complying to strict information security and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in application security principles.
• Experience in designing and developing application in an Agile or waterfall method.
Nice to Have Skills:
• Agile/SAFe experience would be an asset.
• Knowledge or experience with ITIL.
• Knowledge of DevOps, ITIL and collaboration tools like git/GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Ansible Tower, Oracle Wallet, ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Borland Caliber RM, etc.
• Understanding of Testing and Quality Assurance principles.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (i.e., Perl, Python, Linux Shell, PowerShell).
