Heavy Construction Equipment Operator (NOC 73400)
Employer: Ruby Rock Asphalts Works Ltd.

Job Location:
• Based in Airdrie, AB, with travel to various locations in Central and Southern Alberta
• Mileage, travel expenses, and living allowance paid by the employer as per company policy
• Relocations costs covered by employer (for out-of-province applicants, up to $2,500 per individual, as per company policy)
• Subsidized accommodations available for out-of-province applicants, as per company policy
Wage: $32.46 to $37.00 /hour (based on skills and experience/salary increases as per company’s policy)
Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal employment, full-time, 40 to 60 hours per week (weather dependent), Overtime, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Night

Job requirements:

Experience: 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent training

Security and Safety: Pre-access drug and alcohol screening required prior to working on specific job sites


Duties:
• Operate heavy equipment
• Operate computer controlled equipment
• Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
• Secure special attachments to equipment
• Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
• Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
• Perform minor repairs to equipment
• Monitor safety conditions
